Booking and Refund Policy For customers who book and pay through this website or directly through Hooked on Barra, refunds will only be issued under the following circumstances: Cancellation is made at least 24 hours prior to the date and time of the booked activity. Bookings canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled activity will incur a 100% cancellation fee, unless valid documented evidence is provided (e.g., unforeseen medical event). No-shows for the scheduled booking will incur a 100% cancellation fee without exception. In the rare event that Hooked on Barra cancels the activity and an alternative time is not acceptable to the customer, a full refund will be issued. Refunds will also be provided where required under the Australian Consumer Law, including where goods or services are defective or not fit for purpose. Where an Australian (Commonwealth or State) government department or court mandates a refund to be issued. 2. General Conditions Safety Instructions: All participants must follow safety instructions provided by Hooked on Barra staff. Failure to comply may result in removal from the premises without refund. Assumption of Risk: Participation in fishing activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to slippery surfaces, fishing equipment hazards, and encounters with local dangerous wildlife. Customers participate at their own risk. Child Supervision: Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Arrival Time: Customers are requested to arrive at least 10 minutes before their booking time. Late arrivals may not be accommodated or compensated for time lost from their session, and no refunds will be issued for missed sessions. Weather Policy: Operations continue in varying weather conditions unless deemed unsafe by Hooked on Barra management. In the event of unsafe conditions, an alternative session or refund will be offered. 3. Limitation of Liability Hooked on Barra accepts no responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property arising from participation, except where required by law. By purchasing a ticket and participating, customers acknowledge and accept these risks. 4. Dispute Resolution Any disputes under this policy must be lodged in writing to Hooked on Barra no later than 30 days following the intended booking date.
